How to view a Snapchat story
Type the username, with or without the @, or paste a link such as snapchat.com/add/username or snapchat.com/@username. IdSnoop loads the public profile and shows the current story, highlights, and Spotlight posts in separate tabs. Tap any snap to watch it full screen, use the arrows or your keyboard to move between snaps, and stories play through on their own.
What you can watch
The Story tab shows snaps posted to the public story in the last 24 hours. Highlights are stories the creator saved to their profile, grouped by title. Spotlight is their public short videos, with view counts when Snapchat shares them. Everything here is content the account chose to make public on its Snapchat profile page.
Download stories and Spotlight videos
Open a snap and press the download button to save it. Videos save as MP4 files and photos as JPG, at the quality Snapchat serves on the public page. Please respect creators: save content for personal reference, and do not repost it without permission.
Why a story might not show
Only public profiles, such as creators and public accounts, publish stories on the web. Stories from private friends-only accounts are never visible, and a public story disappears 24 hours after it was posted. If the Story tab is empty, check the Highlights and Spotlight tabs, which stay up until the creator removes them.
Find the same person on other apps
Snapchat profiles often say little about who runs them. Run the same username through the IdSnoop username search to see whether it is registered on Instagram, TikTok, X, and hundreds of other sites, with the profile photos and bios those sites publish.
